Daysen Lupica '24 Recruiting Profile

I will be the first person in my family, on both my mom and dads side, to get into and graduate from college. I want to graduate with a degree in sports medicine, and build a career around my passion for basketball.  My peers tell me that I play like Jaylen Brown because I am a good three point shooter, I play good defense, and I can finish around the rim.  I am working on becoming a master communicator on and off the court, and I am always pushing myself and my peers to be the best version of themselves.  I am a team player and have an easy going leadership style.  I am dependable, consistent, skilled, tough, and have a high basketball.  My teammates know that I appreciate them and believe in them.  I am different from other recruits because I have had to work for everything in my life. I had a tough childhood, and have had to depend on myself for most of it.  I am hungry to succeed in basketball, in the classroom, and graduate so that I can return and give back to my grandmother and community.
