Christian Jenkins '27 Recruiting Profile

    Aloha Coaches! My name is Christian Jenkins and I am the graduating class of 2027 and an upcoming sophomore at Kapaa High School. I play as a shooting guard/ small forward and have a strong passion and love for basketball. My long term goal is to play as a collegiate athlete while pursuing studies in sports management/ law. I am always trying to improve my skills whether it be going over game footage or getting 1-on-1 time with coaches. On the court, I am always trying to encourage my teammates to improve play on the court. Basketball has made me a better person. I have been able to grow and develop as an athlete, learn lifelong skills, and am eager to see what the future holds for me. 

    On and off the court, I am very competitive and strive to be the best academically and athletically. Although not every time turns out how I want, I always put my best foot forward. I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA while playing multiple sports. I have been playing basketball for almost 10 years and continue to grow and learn new things. I understand that playing at the collegiate level requires not just hard work but also dedication and passion to be the best version of myself. As I enter my second year of high school; I am going to continue my journey through hard work, passion, and support from my family, friends, and my team to achieve my dream to be a collegiate basketball player.
