My goal for college is to play at a high level, all while receiving a quality education. Being a student-athlete in honors and AP classes has taught me a lot about discipline as well as how to manage not only my grades, but also the time I put in to the sport I love. Because of this, I have learned to embrace challenges as an opportunity for growth. During my time as a basketball player I have never had an issue with finding something that could really challenge me and test my ability to adapt and thrive in something I may not have formerly been good at. With a growth mindset the impossible is always achievable. Not only do I participate in honors and AP classes, but I am very active in my community. I participate in my schools key club, and volunteer at my mothers social service center. Overall, I do my best to improve the environment I am a part of, whether that is my community, my team, or my school.
