Evan Munoz '24 Recruiting Profile

As a student and an athlete, my dream since I was little is to play at the highest level possible. It's been a big motivator in my path as a student athlete and it continues to motivate me to get out of bed in the mornings to workout and to do that homework assignment late at night. My goals and aspirations consist of playing basketball at any level and continuing my academic career pursuing a business management degree. I think I'd be a good candidate for your team because I can play on both sides of the court. Offensively I can shoot and slash consistently as well as find open teammates and make heads up passes.  Defensively I always want to guard the best player on the court and make it my job to shut him down. Aside from my on court capabilities, I'm good at meshing with new people and staying positive. I see myself as a good Christian centered young man who loves to compete and win while respecting the game and his peers and opponents who play. What makes me stand out from other recruits is that I'm not worried about my statistics or what awards I win. As a player, all I care about is winning as a team and putting a banner in the rafters. As a student I want to succeed just as bad as I do on the court in the classroom, and lastly as a person. My mindset and work ethic will set me apart from all the others. I view myself as a leader in a quiet way. I like to motivate my teammates and set a good example without being authoritative and pushy. Thank you for taking the time to consider me!
