Angelo McClay '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Angelo McClay Jr. I am 16 years old and attend Leo Catholic High School in Chicago, IL. I am a rising Junior.  I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old.  I played on a variety of recreational leagues and on AAU teams in Chicagoland and suburban cities for many years. I am also played the last two years  as a freshman and sophomore on my school's team as a small forward. I plan on trying out junior year for the varsity team this fall.  My father also has a long history in basketball. He had a very successful High School and College Basketball career.  My father also had a college basketball scholarship to Panhandle State University and eventually played overseas in Italy.  Currently, he coaches at local community centers as a volunteer. He still enjoys the game of basketball and I have been around it my entire life. He molded me into the basketball player that I am today and I love the game now. 

My current aspirations are to graduate High School successfully with a basketball scholarship to a Division 2 school or NAIA college.
