Luis Acevedo '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach, 

My name is Luis Acevedo, I am a successful student athlete looking forward to the next level of competition, both academically and athletically. I have been the captain or co-captain on every team I've played on. My coaches have said that I am coachable, have a high bball IQ and a great teammate and leader. They have also said that I pass up too many open shots and need to be more selfish. I'm working on that.  I am a competitor from tip off to the final buzzer, and I don't miss free throws in the last minutes of a game. I haven't always loved the process of becoming a better basketball player but when COVID took basketball away for a short time, I was sick without it.  Today I can say I love the process and have trained everyday since to improve all parts of my game on and off the court.
