My goal in life period is to be the greatest person & athlete I can become. I am a self-made athlete that will stop at nothing to accomplish my dreams and aspirations. I am the hardest worker I know and that kind of dynamic is precisely the kind of energy I can bring to practice and games. Whatever it takes to get to the next level I will do it.
Every day someone somewhere is working on their game. That kid is me. Anytime someone "just isn't feeling it today" or "is feeling a little tired and better sit this one out", I am there all day everyday working as hard as possible. This is proven by perfect attendance my entire high school career. Every coach I have talked to says that I am a very hard worker and ask me where I'm thinking about going to school. My response is always "nobody has contacted me yet". It has been hard to come to this conclusion, but all I can do is keep working. Luckily I know people that know people. Just talk to one of my "recruiters" David Whittington. This man has showed me the light when it comes to college recruiting. He has told me that I have the work ethic of legend and that very few people have my competitive drive. His number is (805)-651-9665.
It is from my grueling 3 year high school basketball experience that I have the learned the gift of hope and resilience. I will pay attention to all who wish to help me learn and grow in this game I so love. After all, isn't the love of the game above all else? For me, the game is more than a ball and hoop. It is a game of great sacrifice and time. It is also one of great reward and happiness. This is what I dream of being surrounded by for the next 4 years. This is what I dream of pursuing.
Many times people loose hope on their dreams. Basketball has always been my escape. All the doubters, bullies, or liars that have came into my life have served a true purpose. And that purpose is to further my drive. I may be against all odds, but all I'm looking for is a shot.
