Gavin Betten '25 Recruiting Profile

After high school I would be honored be a true scholar athlete for the school I would be lucky to attend.  I have a 4.0 GPA and and enrolled in honors Science, Math and English and am on the high honor roll.  I take great pride in my academic achievements.  Although I just finished my Freshman year starting on the varsity, I feel I’ve  learned a great deal about being a leader on the floor and having older classmates look to me to help carry the team.   This experience is has been invaluable and will only grow as I mature into this sport that I am truly involved in and love.  I’m a great teammate and truly believe in helping others achieve the success as a team.  

Before this basketball season, I decided not to play soccer and elected to play Unified Football which allows kids with developmental challenges to play along with those without these challenges.  This had  a profound effect on me personally and witnessed how sports, teamwork and achievement had an effect on all of us who participated.  I am looking forward to continuing this in the future!
