Basketball 2023/2...Personal Statement
Winning the NSW Western Junior League Final as a freshman was the highlight of my high school basketball career. I grew most as a student - athlete when my team lost in the Grand Final during my junior year. This event helped me to re - focus my abilities on becoming a shooting guard capable and worth of playing at the collegiate level.
Being apart of a winning program throughout high school helped me to learn the value of teamwork, dedication, sacrifice and leadership, these skills easily translatable to all aspects of life. My exceptional work ethic and dedication to both basketball and my studies is very high and will make me a competitive team player for the right college. My key strengths include very strong 1 on 1 defensive skill, ball handling, mid range shooting and overall fitness / athletic abilities. I believe that my experience as a three sport athlete, character and leadership skills will be able to have an immediate impact on your team!
