Personal Statement

I am very keen to build on the opportunity I have had as a student-athlete on the elite, multi-championship-winning senior high school team at the Scots College: Conference Premiers 2011, 2012; Conference champions, 2013; District and Regional champions, 2011, 2013; BRIT (Canada) champions 2012; All-schools State Champions, 2013; All-schools National Silver Medalists, 2013. As starting combo guard, I helped my Scots team achieve an impressive 41:2 W/L record in 2013. My plan is to keep working tirelessly in the classroom, in the weights room, and on the basketball court to be the very best student-athlete I can possibly be.

'Andrew's moral fibre, intrinsic drive and Christian faith shape the young man he is today. Andrew is a talented combo guard, whose actions and standards of excellence inspire both students and adults alike ... I would encourage you to strongly consider Andrew as a student leader in your academic institution. Andrew's richness in character, unrivalled discipline and honour will add enormous value to your school, team and brand.' (David Todd, Head Coach & Director of Basketball, The Scots College).
