Chase Honarvar '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chase Honarvar. I am a class of 2025 Center/Forward who plays for Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence, KS. As a junior I averaged 14.7 points, 15.2 rebounds, and 7.5 blocks a game (which was the 3rd most in the nation and 1st in the state of Kansas).  I earned player of the year in my conference and player of the year 1-3a non senior in the state of Kansas.  I also won Defensive Player of the Year in Kansas.

My love for basketball will go beyond playing the game.  I have been playing it my whole life and will continue with some aspect of the game well after my playing days are over.  I put in work 2-3x a day to get better and truly love the process. Many coaches tell me that I am old school type player.  Physical, defensive minded, In the trenches type of player, but they also recognize that I am working on my game  to strengthen my perimeter aspect. I am a player that is willing to do what it takes to get my team to win. 

Although basketball is a very important part of my life it’s hardly the only thing in my life.  My mom, dad, and the rest of my family, as well as school and my friends are very important to me.  I work hard at Bishop Seabury which is the 1st rated academic school in Kansas and have earned a 3.8 GPA.
