Hello and thank you for your time, My name is Garrett Elder and I'm a Senior at Uniontown High School in Uniontown, KS . I am interested in attending College in the Fall 2017. I would like to major in Biology/PreMed. I hope to become a dermatologist. Currently, I play for Uniontown High School. My coach's name is Jeremy Neville. Redfield is so small that we don’t even have a stop light. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 146. Of those 146, there are my parents, with whom I reside , Delbert and Jennifer Elder and younger brother Wyatt who is 13. My older sister Kiersten graduated from Pittsburg state, KS with a psychology degree and lives in North Carolina. I worked at the local grocery store in Fort Scott during my off season. I also own and operate a small cattle operation with my 2 cousins.

Currently I start on our varsity football team and am co-captain and am a starter on our varsity basketball team. I did participate 1 year in Track,  doing field events.

  I am academically sound with a 3.51 GPA. I am a student council member of 3 years. I am currently our senior class secretary. In 2016 I earned my state FFA degree and am involved in that as well.  I am a 4 year math team member and also a 4 year honor roll member.
