Jake Palmer '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Palmer. I am currently a junior attending Gardiner Area High School in Gardiner, Maine. I am 6'0 and weigh 160 lbs. I am very fast and quick on the court, whether it's ball handling or playing defense. I can shoot very well, and I am a consistent shooter from anywhere on the court. Off the court, I am a good student with very high grades and a good GPA. I am a part of the National Honor Society and also a member of our schools Student Council. I am interested in dental hygiene, athletic training and accounting. I am still undecided on what major I plan to pursue. A school that I would like to attend would have a nice setting, with a good amount of students, a good basketball program and offer a major I am interested in pursuing. I am open to mostly any school, however. Some sport accomplishments would include, MVP of the City Hoops Classic, and also MVP of our schools second round playoff game. I also made Honorable Mention All Conference and was one vote away from All Conference Defensive Team. I can offer any team my hard work ethic, my desire and my high IQ of the game. I can also take charge when I am needed to. My family and I will be applying for financial aid this fall when I begin the process of applying to colleges. My goals in my athletic career are to be an important player and have a postivie impact on the team.
