Kyle Landry '24 Recruiting Profile

Some of my earliest memories are me playing with a basketball. Basketball has always been a everyday part of my life and I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I know that if I were to be given the chance, I would rise to the challenge and excel in any environment.

I have strong court awareness and understand spacing to create space for my teammates. As a point guard, I lead my team through the offense and defense. I have always been called a "fast learner" by coaches and always am the first to volunteer for challenges in practice. 

In the spring I participate on a competitive AAU team that plays in the Under Armour circuit and I also participate in team lifts. On this team, I have been selected as the team captain and take this responsibility to lead my team very seriously. I continuously work to improve my craft and learn all I can about basketball.

Academically, I have a 4.37 GPA and take multiple college level courses. I have been inducted into both the Spanish National Honor Society and the National Honor Society. Also, I have been selected for my schools "Student of the Month" and have multiple letter of recommendations from my teachers. 

I want to attend a college where I can pursue my intended major and continue build on my basketball skills. I currently have very little preferences for attending a college but hope to achieve the highest level of academic and athletic competition that is possible.
