I am a point guard/shooting guard at Calvary Baptist Academy. I played on varsity as an 8th grader (MHSAA allowed due to school size) and seek to improve daily. As a sophomore, I was both a captain and a starter, and led the team in points and assists. I run practices for both the Varsity team and the Junior High team as well so I can lead them to success in the future. As a junior I was selected MVP and to the All-Area Dream Team. I also play AAU ball with OTB (Off the Bench). This program is known for being a top competitor and has won multiple tournaments in Michigan. I am a starter with this team and a leader both on and off the court.
I come from a high-achieving family. My father is a 2x Hall of Fame coach with a national coach of the year honor and 8 State Championships. My mother recorded music and had a song on the radio. My sister won a national poetry competition, two state championships in basketball, and is a published author and nation-wide speaker with True Girl ministries. I have grown up being taught leadership, dedication, and drive. I study the game and I adapt to any circumstance. I will always give 110% on the court to make sure my team has success.
Academically, I am one of the top students in my class holding a GPA of 3.75 ( out of 4.0). My school sets high standards in grades (94% for straight A in all classes and music classes only given half credit for GPA). As in everything I am a part of, I strive to acheive to the best of my ability. I am looking to go into a business or education major with an undecided minor.
Professionally I am a manager of 5 employees for a local contracting company as well as running my own lawncare business with multiple employees handling professional lawn care jobs, professional landscaping jobs, condo lawcare management, and individual lawncare for homeowners.
