Darrion Youngblood '25 Recruiting Profile

I’m Darrion Youngblood, I attend Swartz Creek High School and I play varsity Basketball and Soccer. I would like to study Mechanical Engineering and also play basketball at the college level. I’ve been playing Basketball since 2nd grade and soccer since I was in kindergarten, I stopped playing school soccer in middle school because my school did not have a team and I continued playing AYSO. During my summer breaks I played AAU for the Underrated Elite and Frohlich Sports Academy (based in California). During  my High School years thus far I play/played Varsity Football, Soccer, Basketball and Track. In all my sports mentioned I've earned All-League, Player of the Year, All District and Coaches Choice Awards. I feel I’d be a good player at  the collegiate level because I’m a coachable, a dedicated team player, I get along with everyone, and a very positive person. I feel I’m a good goalie in soccer and an great all around player in Basketball. I feel that me being an all position player in basketball is a good thing to have because a coach can put me in any position and I still be able to give 110%. I have great hand eye coordination, developing everyday. great with ball handling. Everyone that knows me would say I am a very coachable, leader, discipline, and team player. Everybody is FAMILY!
