My goal as an athlete is to play basketball at a college that is high-level and a perfect fit for me. I started playing 3 on 3 basketball in 3rd grade and developed a passion for the sport. My varsity coach saw my potential and moved me from playing 9th grade straight to starting varsity the next year as a sophomore. This experience forced me to start taking the game seriously and pushing myself to become a better player.
I believe I am athletically as well as academically ready to be a part of a college team. I am a two-sport varsity athlete so I know what it is like on a big stage and I feel I am ready to go further. As a point guard, I have great court vision, decision making skills, and ball handling ability which serves as an immediate advantage for myself on any college team. I am very good at finding the open man and creating shots for others. These qualities separate me from other players because I'm not necessarily focused on scoring, I put the team first and focus on winning rather than increasing personal stats. I believe I can play at the next level because my grades and skill level reflect just how dedicated I am to the game.
