My name is Cooper Rutten and I am currently a student at Pine Island High School, class of 2027 in Minnesota. I have been a three sport athlete since I was a kid. When I was 8 years old, my mom allowed me to try basketball while also continuing with my hockey schedule, and that is when I learned my heart was on the court rather than the rink.
Since then I’ve played football, basketball, and baseball. My freshman year I put away my bat and joined track and field, which helped my speed and agility. My goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level, while still maintaining a strong GPA and earning a degree.
I am a pg/sg with a good three point shot, can get to the rim, and have a good handle. I am determined to do my best on the court and in the classroom. I always bring my best attitude to both.
