hello my name is Abdiwasa, am a freshman at tech junior high. I am a positive person on and off the court, i am leader amongst my peers. I am self-motivated and think of myself as a motivator for my peers as well. I am a fast learner and I will do my very best at all times to help not only myself but also my teammates on and off the court. What makes me different, for one, is that I am from the small town, and we don't get many opportunities to show what talent. I am a team player and I always think of my teammates first. I like playing defense and feel the need to work harder on the defensive side and offense will come. I try my best to create the easiest possible shots I can for my teammates to get a good look. I also know that no one is perfect; sometimes we have off days and I will not get down on my teammates if they were to have one because I myself have those days and I wouldn't want them to get down on me. We must encourage each other and build confidence in one another. Academically, I push myself just as much as physically. Without my academics, there is no use for me to want to do any other activities so I focus on academics first then extracurricular activities after. I know what my weaknesses are, and I strive to get stronger in every course. thank you for this opportunity NCSA.
