Zane Lokken '24 Recruiting Profile

In 5th grade I met the basketball coach that changed it all. Coach Phil believed in, pushed me, and encouraged me in a way that no one else had before. The spark was lit. I knew then basketball would be my future. Most describe me as a shy, soft spoken kid but Phil taught me how to find my voice on the court and from that point on I have been the leader of my teams. He encouraged me to share my high sports IQ with others and allow that to lead the team to success. I am looking for a program and a coach who will believe in me and push me just as hard as the coach that began the boys dream that got me here.

I am humble, respectful, coachable and driven. I am a supportive teammate and will never stop trying to make those that believe in me proud.

Academics have always been a high priority in our house, I plan to pursue a degree in business or computer science. I take as many honors and AP courses as my school offers, heavily focused in math and science to best set up my future. I see myself pursuing a coaching certification to give back to the youth once I am done playing, as my elementary coach did for me.
