Personal Statement
My plan is to attend college for Pre-med and then attend Medical School to pursue a career as a pediatrician. My ultimate goal would to be able to play basketball while attending college. I began playing basketball at age 6 playing for Parks and Rec teams as well as Kiwanis and an AAU travel team. Beyond basketball, I am the starting varsity receiver, punter, and linebacker for football and a varsity track athlete running hurdles and triple jump. I would be a great candidate for your team because I am driven, hard working, positive, always ready to learn something new, a leader, and team player. During my 2021/2022 season, both in football and basketball I received the Stockman's Bank Sportsmanship award. Currently, I am 1st in the state, Class A, and my conference for field goal percentage at 79.6%. I am 1st in Class A and my conference for rebounds. 5th in Class A for blocks. I was awarded All-State selection, All-Conference Selection, and Academic All-State Selection. I am talented and always consistent. I love the game. I know academics are just as important and the importance of a student athlete representing your school and community. I take pride in working hard off the court as well. My GPA is a 3.9. I am enrolled in AP and honors courses. I plan on taking dual enrollment next year as a senior. I know that as a student athlete you are representing your school, community, yourself, and your family. I will work hard, play tough, and always set good examples.
