Jonathan Powell '19 Recruiting Profile

A lot of people look at the height and underestimate what I can and can't do. However, I see life this way, if you can control what your goal is you can do anything you want in life no matter what people say or think. I've been going through a lot with my family and I've been keeping up with my grades and sports while not thinking about the bad things that have been going on in my life. I feel my best feature is my heart and work ethic in anything I do and that's why coaches, teammates, and fans like me. I work and work until I get what I want. I have a high IQ on the court and can see everything. If a man is open, I'll see him and get it to him, but if you need me to score I can do that too. I'm very coachable on and off the court. I can follow instructions and place my confidence in a coach due to the fact that they have the experience and have demonstrated so to become a coach. My GPA is A 3.0 average and I want to improve that to at least a 3.5 upwards to a 4.0 to have a better chance at college admittance and scholarships. I'd be a great addition to any organization due to who I am, but more importantly, where I am headed. I have the ambition of a god, and a heart of pure gold, ever upraising in value.
