Reid Heyman '21 Recruiting Profile

What can I say, I'm a basketball nut.  Since the first time I shot the ball when I was 5 years old at a local basketball clinic (thanks Coach Tone) I have been hooked on this special game.  Through my years of playing I have developed a sound understanding of the game, a killer jumpshot and a never say die attitude.  While I enjoy playing games at the parks in Brooklyn, my true love, and where I shine, is playing in organized team games with my high school team or AAU club.  I love being a part of a team.  I am a born leader, a coachable player and I am always looking out for my teammates.  When I am not playing ball I am focused on my studies, working out in the weight room, helping my parents around the house, and playing with my dog, Luca.  Also, I do my best to contribute to improving my community by volunteering at my local YMCA and mentoring young boys and girls who love basketball as much as I do.  My aspirations are to continue to play basketball on the collegiate level while at the same time make lifelong friends with my teammates and classmates and prepare for my future beyond school.
