Hi Coaches,
Thank you for taking the time to review my NCSA profile. I have lived in Cary, N.C. my entire life with both parents and my little sister. Cary is located just outside of Raleigh and 25 minutes from Durham and Chapel Hill, so needless to say, basketball is BIG around here. Both of my parents are college graduates, so the importance and value of education was instilled in me very early in my life.
As I am getting close to finishing up my high school career I believe that one of the most important things that playing sports has taught me is that if you work hard enough and do it consistently you will get the results you’re looking for. When I entered Ravenscroft in the 9th grade, the college-like atmosphere and rigor allowed me to mature and learn that accountability and hard work was going to be my path to success. I kept that mentality throughout my sophomore year and transition into public school and started to see a steady improvement in my academics and athletic career. In my junior year I decided to pick things up even more , so I transitioned to taking honors and AP classes while also working out before the school day started. I enjoy the challenge being a student athlete and the life lessons that I have learned early while balancing my focus and improvement in both aspects of my life.
I know that setting your mind towards a goal and going in 110% delivers positive results.
