Personal Statement
God, Family, School, Basketball. This has been instilled in me from the moment my father put a basketball in my crib. I fell in love with the game for myself from then. The young man that I am today has definitely been influenced by watching my mother's struggles. Her struggles have motivated me to become a hard worker both on and off the court. The passing of my mother was the biggest obstacle in my life. Having to overcome this has given me the fire and drive I needed to get to where I wanna be in the future.
My academic goals are to graduate high school in the top of my class and to obtain a degree in communications in college. One unique attribute that I believe separates me from other recruits is my short memory on the court. No player is perfect so being able to learn from your mistake but not dwelling on it or allowing it to stop you from competing on every play there after. Through my time playing basketball I've learned that I hate to lose but I love to see my teammates get better so that we succeed as a team.
