I have been playing basketball since I was 4 years old. I have loving, supportive parents who has constantly been in my ear to remain focused on being a, good student, leader, person and to give 110% in whatever I do. Growing up as a child my dream has always been to go to college and make my parents proud. I am the only boy of four older sisters. Seeing my older sisters go off to college and play Division 1 basketball motivated me to want to go off to college and play basketball. I am a team player, I am not selfish and am adaptable. I know how to play my position. Going into high school I felt as if I was ten steps ahead of everyone else my age as I knew exactly what college I wanted to go to and where I wanted to be financially in 10 years. I had a small hiccup this year due to not remaining focused in certain classes, I realized my error and quickly got back on the right track especially with the support of my parents and mentors. No matter how tough a situation gets I will always find a way to overcome and find the good in any situation. I have been on the honor roll since grade school through 12th grade being one of the top 25 in my class. I reviewed my game plan and got back focused as I am a young African American male and I am determined to not be a statistic. I established a career path and set goals mandatory for me to achieve. I am aspiring to be a Professor. I Know I Can!
