Richie Thompson '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Richie Thompson. I am an elite PG, I've been playing basketball since I've learned how to walk and currently go to prep school in Ohio in my Senior year. I have always had the dream of playing College basketball at the highest level and hope to earn a full scholarship to do so. 

I am a tough hard nosed defensive minded PG with great court vision and passing abilities who enjoys getting my team involved and making everyone around me better. I am an elite defender that is always tasked with guarding the other teams best player and love it. I am very quick, have excellent handles, can create my own shot or get to the rim almost any time I want, have a very high IQ and am a good decision maker.

I had recently led my team to a second straight conference championship, I was named 1st team All Conference, I was an All District Honorable Mention, Named to All Tournament Team in a tournament my team travelled to and won in Canada, Selected to play in the NAAPS All American Game March 30 in Tenn. and Selected to represent the State of Ohio in the Down-under Hoops Classic in Australia. 

Finally what makes me different than others is my strong faith, my personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my family who support me in all I do, my tireless work ethic, undeniable determination and unwavering confidence. I believe I could be a very valuable asset to whichever  program I join as I have proven over my entire life that I am a winner.
