My collegiate goals and aspirations are to win NCAA championships as well as win the Naismith player of the year award and grow as a player during my college stay.
What make me a good candidate for any team is my versatility as a player, able to play with both the defensive and offensive mindset as either a shooting guard or point guard. I am a very teachable and coachable person with the ability to quickly learn basketball play formats. I have the ability to create and make shots as well as tirelessly create chances to provide assists for my teammates. I’m fearless when I’m in attack mode splitting defensive wall to make shots.
What makes me different from other recruits is my ability to stay positive throughout games. I have great stamina which my coach uses always to balance team energy, enabling me more playing time too. My positive attitude has been known to have a good impact on the morale of my team. I’m also an encourager to any of my teammates that might be having a bad playing day.
Athletically, I’m simply fast, able to run 100m in 12 seconds. I use this speed to always beat defensive traps. I have excellent ball handling skills with control under pressure. I’m also an excellent free throw shooter, currently > 85% this season. I don’t give up easily on play no matter the situation.
I’m always a starter on my team but sometimes I get substituted to go to the bench. My attitude continues to remain positive by me cheering on my teammates on plays and actions on the court. My coach always tells me how my positive mindset helps with my team’s outlook on played games.
Academically, I’m hoping to finish high school with high grades in the range of 3.8 to 4.0 GPA. This kind of grades will help me to get both athletic and academic scholarship for any Div 1 college I might end up attending.
