Jake Beaman '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Brookings Harbor High School.  I have been a starter on my soccer and basketball teams and lettered in track since freshman year. I was First-Team all-state soccer defender my sophomore year and senior year and first-team all-league in grades 10. 11, and 12.   I play multiple positions for my basketball team.  My track events are the 4x100, 4x400, 400, 800, and long jump.  My 4x100 team got 7th in the state in 2021.  I am the captain of my soccer and basketball teams.

I honestly enjoy soccer and basketball equally and would like the opportunity to play either in college.  I have been playing both since I was 5 years old.  I think the sports complement each other, and I believe that I could do well in either after high school.

I am a hard worker and do well in school.  I am taking three college courses this semester and am enjoying them.  I am planning to major in a health science related field.

One thing that people say about me is that I have a lot of drive and determination.  I have been told that I am easy to coach, and I always want to learn more about soccer and basketball.  I have good vision, and am a leader on my team.  I will always put my best effort and would appreciate the opportunity to show coaches why I would be a good candidate for their team.
