Chris Poole '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi. I am Chris Poole, and it has always been my goal ever since 3rd grade to play college basketball. I am 5'8" 1/2 and 130 lbs. I am currently a freshman at Blanchet Catholic School in Salem, Oregon. I am team captain for the Blanchet JV2 team this year because of my willingness to go take charge during tight games. My coaches have called me gutsy because i would have the confidence of taking shots that normally everybody else would be afraid of taking. I would like to go to college on the West Coast particularly of the closeness to my family and friends in Oregon and California. I am looking for either a Division I or Division II school. I am open to any type of schools. I have given my major a lot of thought, and have decided that a potential subject that I would like to major in is Phycology. I have always been interested in the subject, and would love to study it more. I believe i can make a realistic impact on a Division I college basketball program. I have always desired to play at the highest level of competition possible, and to excel while I am there. Mostly, my goal is to earn an athletic scholarship.
