Growing up with 2 brothers I am the most competitive person I know, I am always willing to do twice as much as the person next to me and surpass them without saying a word. I let my game speak for itself, keeping trash talking and celebrations to a minimum, it helps me keep a focused mindset on the game and play without distractions. I believe the best way to lead is by example, my leadership is extremely valuable to any team because my relentless work ethic and understanding of detailed aspects of the game will always raise my teammates effort and awareness. Basketball is an emotional game, and for many players those emotions can really plummet or boost their game. I play every game in a level headed manner because I believe it expresses a calmness and confidence to myself and teammates that will help us play focused and hard no matter the situation.
School and learning is somewhere I thrive, I have always enjoyed school and learning in the classroom which has helped me in being a great student. It is important to me that the collage I am attending is as dedicated to helping grow in the classroom as much as it is dedicated to helping me grow on the court. A goal of mine is to graduate high school will my bilingual diploma and use my secondary language to boost my learning even further in college. An important athletic goal of mine is to pursue my path in basketball and take my game to the highest level. I love the sport and have been playing since I could walk, I want to do my best to play basketball at a high level for as long as possible, and I look forward to the challenge and opportunities that university basketball will provide.
