I first found my love of basketball at the age of 3 when I saw basketball on tv. From then I started getting all items related to basketball. I never did pick up a basketball and play until the 2de grade. From there I started going to camps to learn more and get better. I’ve learned from this sport that when times get hard or tuff you can go to basketball to think about it. Basketball is a person that is there for you. The sport doesn’t leave you, you leave it. So I’m moments in need you could rely on basketball us you give up. People in my life so far have taught me a lot of things. The main lesson I’ve learned is things that you think are there for you for every aren’t. They’ve made me stronger and more confident in my choices and decisions. I always think to appreciate the people that have made me mad or have hurt me in life because without them I wouldn’t be who I am. I’m a leader, and I’m not just saying this as most people do. I believe I am a real leader. I’ve had coaches, teachers, even people who come up to me in public and say you’re a leader. I’m a funny smart guy. When my coaches hear or say my name they expect something good or funny. Now, I want a school that can help me with my academic skills. I want to be able to say I went to school and learned something. When I’m done with sports I wanna have something to fall back on. And for the coaches who gave up or will give up on me, I want you to know that you’re skipping and not giving a chance to a bright brilliant young mind. You’re not skipping athlete, your skipping on an intelligent brain that’s is what a coach should be looking for instead of their athleticism.
