Hey Coaches, I just wanted to let y'all know I'm currently recovering from an ACL tear. This is just a minor set back, I will be back stronger. These past few seasons during club and high school I've noticed a trend that happens to me, the coaches tend to bench me at the start of the season. But once they give me the chance, the opportunity to prove myself, I gain their trust. So slowly, the minutes increase, and eventually I start, and once you know it I'm starting again and again. So in telling you this, I just want to show you that no matter what gets in my way, wether it's an injury or lack of trust. I will work hard to get back on that field.
I do not want to go to college just for soccer, I also want to go for an education. I have goals to apply what I learn in college into the world, into whatever I do in life. I believe my work-ethic makes me a good candidate not only for your soccer team but for school too. Going through this ACL recovery I've learned a lot about myself, body, and also about life. I learned to not take anything for granted because it can be gone in an instant. So you can count on me to give everything I have to succeed in soccer and in the classroom.
