Hello Coach,
My name is Jake McCullough and I've been a Varsity basketball player since my freshman year. Some of my proudest moments are being selected as All-District and All-County Newcomer of the year my freshman year and earning All-District Academics . I was selected Captain of my team my Sophomore year. I started my high school career as a shooting guard and was one of the top scorers on my team. As a player that wants whats best for my team I am willing to work as hard as I need to and am willing to accept any role and play any position that helps my team win games. For an example, after being a shooting guard these past two years I was moved to point guard my junior year. Although I am no longer the leading scorer, I take pride in getting my team involved and bringing up my assist stats. Not only that I take pride in my defense and getting stops which has led to me to lead my team in steals and deflections. Which led to being selected as 1st Team All-District. I am always willing to put in extra work and am always the first in the gym and the last one to leave.
