I am more than a basketball player. I am a young man who has learned through my basketball journey that adversity introduces you to yourself. My journey hasn't been easy, but I have learned more about myself, my drive and my determination after suffering an injury my freshman year. I could have quit, listened to noise and walked away from it all, but it only ignited a fire in me to go harder. It's that fire that drives me and propels me to find the right fit (i.e. coach, team, college) to support me on my collegiate basketball journey.
My education is key and comes first and I seek to play in a collegiate environment where I am supported as a whole person...a true student-athlete. The basketball will eventually stop bouncing and I want to leave college equipped with the knowledge to apply my talents anywhere in life. I see myself fitting in to a team that has a winning mind set, trusts one another and is lead by a coach who truly believes in his players.
My goal is to leave college with a Business degree that will allow me to use my talents to effect future generations. While I don't know quite yet the specific realm, I know I will make an impact where ever I land.
