My goal is to play college basketball at a top academic school. With each year of high school, I have grown as a player and added new elements to my game, going from being mostly a role player on varsity as a junior to being one of the team's top scorers and rebounders as a senior. I have no doubt that I will continue to improve at this rate in college as well. I pride myself on being a jack-of-all trades type of player, someone who can fill any role or position asked of me, as well as someone who plays 100% all the time, whether that be crashing the glass, running the floor, diving for loose balls, or taking charges. Right now, my biggest areas for improvement are to add even more muscle to my frame and to develop an even quicker first step. I have already made tremendous progress in these areas, but I will continue to work tirelessly at improving even more, in addition to getting shots up every day.
Academically, I hope to attend the highest academic school that I can. I have been able to maintain a 3.96 GPA taking almost exclusively AP/honor classes at one of the most challenging high schools in the state, and I want to carry this level of difficulty over to college. I am confident that I will succeed academically and athletically at the college level. If given the opportunity, I can be an asset to any college program.
