I have been playing basketball since I was 5, and my passion for the game has only grown since then. I grew up around the game and decided one day that I wanted to play at the collegiate and pro level and decided that I would do whatever it takes to achieve my aspirations. I wasn't born with any special talent or crazy athleticism like some people, so everything that I've earned I've gotten through hard work, which is the biggest trait that separates me from the pack. I am a good leader who has good communication skills but also has the ability to not just listen but to understand others as well. I have a strong passion and love of the game which I feel helps fuel my competitive nature, along with my sheer will to win. I believe that my competitiveness helps push my teammates to want to be the best player and people that they can be. Although I work hard on the court, my priorities remain in the classroom. I understand that the ball will eventually stop bouncing one day and I'm going to have to find a career off the court. Throughout my life there have been people who have motivated me and constantly pushed me to be the best person I can be on and off the court, but the 2 main reasons I work so hard is my parents. They have always done what it takes to help me achieve my dreams and have always pushed me. Also, my coaches have helped me tremendously and I'm blessed to have people who will work with me and push me to be great on the hardwood.
