Personal Statement

I‘ve always been a good leader in the wrestling room and try to help out the kids on and off the mat if i can. I also try and be as respectful as possible and listen to my coach’s.  i love to learn every little detail so i can become a better wrestler everytime i step on the mat. Academics have always came first in my house.  So i would love to go to a school  with a nice campus and hopefully some class options i can enjoy taking. Wanna be a part of a team that’s gonna push me and show me to push the ones around me! No one is gonna out work me and i could bring strong leadership and follow it up with a tremendous work ethic to whoever would allow me the opportunity. Having been an individual State champ and apart of a team state championship , I know the value of having a strong TEAM around me and the support it gives me.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • MAWA eastern nationals
  • 5/06/23 to 5/07/23
  • I’ve always have wanted to win MAWA Eastern nationals ever since seventh grade when I got a second at nationals and then I ended up getting second my sophomore year and finally my junior year I became an Eastern national champion and this is by far my favorite accomplishment.
  • Camp/Event
  • NHSCA
  • 3/24/23 to 3/26/23
  • nationals was very fun and I love going there every year so my first match I pin the kid in the reverse arm bar ended up making it to the quarterfinals and losing to a two times Florida State champ and the kid who ended up getting second then I fell all the way back to the third place match and then end up losing 10 to 6 but overall it was a great experience and can’t wait to go back next year and win the whole thing
  • Camp/Event
  • 2023 VACW All Virginia High Scho
  • 3/12/23 to 3/12/23
  • Super states is all the A’s in Virginia because they’re six and I ended up winning by tech fall in the semi finals. Then I won 12 to 0 in the finals to win (super states all virginia at 165)
  • Camp/Event
  • VHSL Class 4 State Championships
  • 2/18/23 to 2/19/23
  • it was a great experience, the kid wrestled in the semi finals I lost too when I was younger and I ended up beating him 5 to 0, then in the finals i wrestled a kid that I’d beat a couple times, but he also beat me so I knew going into the match. I had to be smart and it was amazing to win my second state championship, thank God.🙏🏻
  • Camp/Event
  • Battle at the bridge
  • 12/29/21 to 12/29/21
  • I won battle of the bridge and pinned my way to the finals and also got a pin in the finals. It was a very good experience, and would love to go back and wrestle there again sometime.
  • Camp/Event
  • Fauquier MAWA 2022
  • I went to mawa and i won district and regionals and got 2nd at mawa national by 2 points in the finals to a kid that i lost do by 10 points last time we wrestled, so as much as it sucked i can still see i’m progressing as a wrestler and that’s what i look at when getting on the mat at these type of tournaments.
  • Camp/Event
  • VHSL Class 4, 5, 6 State Champio
  • My freshman year I won states and i pinned my way through districts, regionals and states besides one tactful and that was a childhood dream come true and I can’t wait to put more state titles underneath my belt in the future and keep working hard for my family and friends.
  • Camp/Event
  • VHSL Class 4 State Championships
  • I went to states trying to repeat and become two time state champ and I ended up coming short in the semi finals with a take down in the last couple seconds of the match but not everything goes perfect so I just look at it as I got to work harder and bounce back from it and I will.
  • Camp/Event
  • 2022 AAU Scholastic Duals
  • I went 10-2 at Disney duels and it was a very good experience to wrestle with some new people and got some mat time before football season started.
