Evan Dimund '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evan Dimund, I am a class of 2026 point guard/power forward for Fairfax homeschool hawks l in Fairfax, VA  I specialize in the inner paint area, I’m able to keep a cool head and not play “hero ball” trying to save the game by myself instead of using the 4 other teammates I have. 

I am very passionate about basketball and would love an opportunity to play at the next level. I am always learning, striving to get better, and welcome the opportunity to work with different players and staff. I am the co-captain of my high school JV team, and I work hard to lead and guide my team. I think leadership isn’t about displaying skill but being able to utilize everybody else’s. On the court and off, I strive to be someone who can be relied on and seen as a role model. 

Academics are also a big part of my life. I've been in various STEM programs as well as classes and camps with CTY, AoPS, George Mason Math circle, & more. Outside of the basketball season, I workout in the mornings with my friend and his dad(my previous coach) . It conditions us during the summer.
