College will be my chance to leave it all on the court. I can shoot, but my major contribution to the game is defense. In my junior year, I led the team in rebounds, steals and was named Defensive Player of the Year. During quarantine, I’ve been working on my 3-point shot, lifting weights, running and using the time to gain a competitive edge for senior year.
I bring to the game a coachable spirit, a willingness to work hard, and a track record for delivering rebounds, steals and assists in every game. What the game brings to me is structure to my schedule, belonging to a team, a way to stay physically fit and a reason to eat right. Basketball is much more to me than a game; it is a lifestyle. I’m excited for an opportunity to play in college and leave it all on the court for my college team and coach.
