Charles Coogler '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to finish my degree and maximize my talents and abilities to be able to play at the next level of Basketball. I have experienced a lot of adversity in my life so far at a young age. Adversity in my life has created a hard worker that is never satisfied and is always willing to do more. It has taught me to become a leader and be able to communicate and listen to others when the time is necessary. What makes me stand out against other players is the level of energy and grit determination I bring to the table like no other.  My hustle in sports is no different from my academics. I strive to get the best education and learn as much as I can from others.  I value the word student-athlete that runs in my family a lot.  I want to be able to pursue a great college education as well as balance out basketball as well. I always keep in the back of my head the two words, attitude, and effort. I always remember that those two words are things that I can control in my own life in anything that I do. No one else can control those things for me, and I carry those words with me everywhere and anything I pursue.
