Please note that the video connected to my profile through NCSA is from my junior year; 2009-10. There are three links for more recent video at the end of my personal statement.
My name is DJ Mlachnik and I am a 6'2" guard currently at St. John's Nortwestern Military Academys' Post Graduate Program. The reason I am attending the Post Graduate program is the ability to earn college credits and not absorb any college athletic eligibility while gaining weight / strength and competing at an extremely high level in game competition and everyday practice.
I am also a 2011 high school graduate of SJNMA where I received numerous academic and athletic achievements in three sports while maintaining a 3.9 cummulative grade point average and receiving a combined ACT score of 25. To finish off my senior year I was invited to play in the WBCA North/South All-Star Game and was selected to Wisconsins' Academic All-State Team.
Although I live in Wisconsin, just outside of Milwaukee, I am open to attending college anywhere in the United States.
Below are three video links for you to observe at your convenience. The last one is a highlight video of my senior year. The middle one is a game winning half court shot during the opening round of the 2011 WIAA Tournament accompanied by an article about the game. The first video link (start watching at the 7:00 minute mark, #2 in black) is that of a recent tournament in Connecticut, the 2011 National Prep Showcase NERR, where our Post Graduate team competed against some of the top prep school competition in the country.
