First and foremost my academics are most important to myself and my family. They have always instilled in my education is important. Second, sports have always been apart my life. I have been playing both basketball and football since I was 6 or 7 years old. I have since continued to play these sports in addition to Track in high school. All while participating in these sports I have maintained a >3.0GPA. In addition to practicing at school, I have always worked outside of school with different skills trainers. Currently I am working with professional athletes in strength and conditioning and basketball skills trainer. Since working hard and discipline has been part of my daily regimen for years this carried over to my high school years. I am a disciplined, coach-able player. I also am a team player. So any college or university will be very lucky to have a player like myself. I have learned over time not to limit myself to just D1 colleges, I have learned to keep all my college options open. It will be an easy transition to college for me because I am already use to twice daily training, homework and most days playing games. It will be an easy transition for a college coach because he will not have to instill a lot of the structures into me as some players with balancing school and sport schedules.
