Chaden Lucas '23 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Chaden Lucas, I have been playing golf since I was 3 years old when my grandfather made me a custom 3 iron to fit me. I am very competitive when it comes to any sport but especially when it comes to golf. I love the pressure and competitiveness when the game is on the line. When it comes to team golf it is easily as important to put up a great score as to also support your teammates through the tournament and the season to make a good team chemistry and atmosphere. I would love to play on a college level golf team knowing it takes each and every golfer to win and carry each other to victory. I like to stay as positive and motivated through out the round, I go by the motto "One shot at a time, let the last shot go". I personally think I am a pretty friendly guy and great member to any team. I try and help other people if possible but when it comes to my own team, I like to be the person where a personal teammates can come up to talk to and clear their mind or get help if needed. But most importantly what I've learned the most about golf in my 15 years of playing is to never give up and try your best at even your lowest points of the game.
