My name is Tommy Hayes, I'm a 5'9" golfer from Chicago, Illinois. I am a member of the class of 2019 and the captain of the Whitney Young Varsity Golf Team where I earned the title of Conference Champ for Chicago Public Schools this past season as a sophomore. I maintain a near 4.0 GPA at one of the top high schools in the nation as Academics always stays as a top priority for me.
While the size of the college does not matter to me, I am hoping to pursue a top academic institution, especially one with a great business program. While I am also the captain of the varsity bowling team and a member of the volleyball team at my school, I do not let it impact my golf training. Also, despite the harsh Chicago winters, I still workout and practice year-round through a golf dome located at White Pines Golf Course during the winter season. I am aiming for a D-1 school, however I may consider some top D-2 and D-3 schools if the other aspects of the school fit me.
