Benjamin Solum '24 Recruiting Profile

I remember my dad taking me to the golf course when I was 5 years old. It was at that time that I fell in love with the game. It wasn’t until I started playing competitively that I realized how both frustrating and exhilarating it can make you feel. It was in those moments that I became dedicated to the sport.

The long hours I put in on the golf course and practicing on the driving range has improved my problem-solving skills. It has taught me how to be a more patient person, not only on the golf course, but in life.  

I am looking for a college that will provide me with the right fit both athletically and academically. I know I have the talent to compete on a college team at a very high level. My character, work ethic and dedication are what set me apart from other players. I will rise to any challenge my coaches give me and I will never be outworked. I know when given the opportunity, I will be a leader on your team.
