Beau Petersen '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Beau Petersen from Gretna, Nebraska.  I will be a junior and graduate with the class of 2024.  I have played varsity golf both my freshman and sophomore years.  I won 2 invitational titles my freshman year and placed 14th in the 2021 Midwest Junior Championship at Glen Oaks Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa.  My sophomore year was highlighted by finishing in the top 5, in 6 out of 9 varsity meets. I have maintained a 3.96 GPA and was named to Academic All-State Spring 2022.

My goal is to continue to develop my game both physically and mentally in order to play collegiate golf at the highest level possible.  My drive, determination and willingness to work on my game from sun up until sun down, shows who I really am.  If I get down in a match, I will battle back.  Some players will mentally check out, but not me.  These attributes I can bring to the table to make a collegiate team the best it can be.
