Will Copfer '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m Will Copfer I’m a sophomore and go to Archbishop Moeller high school in Cincinnati, Ohio and play golf for them. I have a weighted 3.80 gpa this golf season and first semester and last year I had a unweighted gpa of 3.97 for the school year. In college I would like to major in mechanical engineering because I can imagine the components of stuff that apparently other people can’t see. I had an average score last year of 47 for nine holes and this year my average was 42. The 5^th best improvement from freshman to sophomore year of the 328 golfers to player for the JV team. I Started playing golf 4 years ago and have only gotten better. I’m the only one in my family that golf’s except for my great Uncle Bob who takes me to Miles of Golf to hit golf balls before the corona virus. I take lessons from Andrew Horner who’s a great coach. My strength of my game is my short game because I have worked very hard to get it to where it is. I want to have an average of 38 next season. If I would compare myself to a PGA tour player, it would be Rory Mcilroy because I swing very similar to him and I work out after school because it helps me to swing better. Also, I’m short like Rory only 5’ 8” and weigh 130 pounds. My max bench is 110 and squat is 215 and trap bar deadlift is 225. I’m similar to Rory because I work really hard to be the best.
