March 2021Personal Statement
I am Carter Woodward, a senior at Pickerington HS Central. My goal is to find a college that grants me an opportunity to continue my academic career learning about something I am passionate for while also being able to play golf at a high level. I began playing golf in 7th grade but never took it seriously until my sophomore year in high school when I made the decision to quit playing soccer, the sport I grew up playing. Since then, I have dropped more then 10 strokes off my average and my confidence has skyrocketed. I believe I can be a leader for any college program and excel in any environment.
Academically, I have taken honors courses up until high school and have been taking AP and CCP classes in high school and have been doing well. I have obtained high honor roll every year since 7th grade. My preferred major is Finance and/or accounting.
