When I was two years old, I had an obsession with golf, at four years old I was introduced to ice skates and then played hockey for 12 years of my life. At the start of my sophmore year I felt something was missing and made a hard decision to follow my heart as I fell out of love with hockey and made the switch an old but new challenge for myself, Golf.
Today, I am a Junior at Montour High in Coraopolis, PA. Over the last two years my dedication to my golf game and goals is an intrinsic and undeniable drive that pushes me every day. What attracts me the most with golf is I love the internal challenge of my own game and its determined on my attitude and work ethic. I have a natural athleticism for the game and use it to empower a side of me to challenge myself outside my comfort zone. The commitment and dedication I put in everyday has focus and consistent improvements on my swing, short game, putting, or shot shaping. The momentum it gives me is a confidence booster in which I thrive upon. The same goes for school, I maintain a great balance and hunger for education as I do my golf game. The sense of accomplishment is what I strive for as I know it impacts my future and I stay consistent with it.
When someone asks me where I see myself in 5 years... I'd say " My vision has miles of green courses, championships and completing my college degree. That's just phase one phase 2 has recognition, travel, and more Wins!!!"
